Hall Fellow Dinner (Midas & Eden)

September 22, 2008

Midas @ Hall Fellow Dinner

Date: 17th September 2008
Time: 1900hrs to 2030hrs
Venue: Podium

Our Hall Fellows Prof Yap, Prof Shu and Prof Brian took the chance to mingle with our freshmen from FOC OGs Midas & Eden during the first Hall Fellow Dinner of the semester.

With a sumptuous spread of (free) fast food from Canadian Pizza & KFC, it was little wonder that the food was gobbled up relatively quickly!

As conversation topics flowed, time passed quickly and pretty soon, it was time to wrap up the dinner.

Yet, I’m sure our hall fellows and freshmen took away something valuable from the dinner – a new bond and understanding between each other.

More pictures are up at: http://picasaweb.google.com/ntuhall4/HallFellowDinnerMidasEden#. Grab yours today!

PS: Fret not, OGs Nova & Taser – YOUR dinners will be coming pretty soon ;)

Hall 4 JCRC Investiture 2008

September 12, 2008

Hall 4 22nd JCRC Investiture

Hall 4 22nd JCRC Investiture

Date: 09 September 2008
Time: 2100hrs
Venue: Area Outside Canteen 4

=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+

It was certainly an emotional night for the 21st JCRC.

Following the Investiture tonight, the 22nd JCRC will have officially taken over their respective portfolios, after one year of service to the hall.

What beckons next after one year of dedication and hard work? Emptiness? The desire to move on?

I guess I will only have the answer to that during my investiture in a year’s time (unless I decide to re-run again).

The 22nd JCRC, having been sworn into office, is embarking on its year-long journey to serve the hall.

I believe all of us have the necessary will and enthusiasm to make things happen around the hall. But without the residents, this is not enough.

Hence, I urge all to give us your support in all upcoming events, whether big or small =)

Together, we make the difference.

Rock on, Hall 4!

Cheers,
Walter

Have a suggestions on how we can conduct upcoming events?
Or on what else our JCRC may do to serve the hall better?

Go ahead, drop a comment or better yet, a post or two!

You may check out the “HOW THIS WORKS” page via the link above to find out how you may contribute.

All the best with school and see you around hall =]
